Dale is a shepherd-pastor-teacher, and has pastored several churches on the west coast. He is known as an exegetical Bible teacher who develops his messages from the original texts of Scripture, as much as possible.
He seeks to edify believers as they worship the Lord. He has an unpublished work on the topic of spiritual gifts, Gifted Servant. He has led many home Bible studies, engaged in men’s discipleship ministries, evangelistic training and outreach. He values Christian education and encourages home schoolers.
He has taught Bible at Victory Christian School, and N.T. Greek at Simpson College (now Simpson University) and Pacific Bible College. Dale enjoys hunting, fishing and is a “Mr. Fix-it.”
As Dale and Peggy were approaching retirement, they wanted to serve the Lord in church ministry, and were led to consider Village Missions. Dale was accepted as a missionary pastor and placed in Skokomish Community Church on March 1, 2022.
Here the focus is on preaching, teaching and discipleship, which as already borne fruit, as people are beginning to come from surrounding areas to join in the ministry of the church, because they have seen spiritual growth in believers here, and long to be fed from the
word.
